I liked what I saw from him . I think he is at least a viable qb2 for now
That's cool. I hope he's the one as well. I'm not counting victories yet.

We can chalk this up RR noit starting Howell way back when against GB as his lasxt mistake of the year n hopefully the last of his Skins HCing career.

Hheh. Already crowned him. You don't like to waste time do you. The way you do it you're bound to get one right someday.
Howell showed enough that he deserves the chance to be the guy. He definitely was up for the challenge and that’s promising.

He looked so calm and unbothered by the moment. Thats what stood out to me the most.

I think Howell played well in his first start. I also think Breed is 100% correct in not attaching any meaning whatsoever to Howell's start.

In terms of qb decisions to be made this offseason the only one that should to be a lock after Howell's first game is that Wentz is gone.

Strange. I thought most end-of-the-year discussions take place today or early the week after the final game.

I am guessing that Snyder tells him to ignore the noise and build a good team...blah, blah, blah.

Hopefully the conversation is, "I'm selling, I appreciate you bringing a sense of normalcy and respectability to this team. If you want to fire Scott, I understand and I'll pay him out.

He will probably relay to him budget expectations until he (Snyder) is gone. I am sure he will tell Rivera to not make any splashes while he is still the owner and to run any franchise-altering moves by him until the sale is complete. I could be wrong but I am assuming he tells Rivera to do the bare minimum until notified. I doubt Dan wants to pay for anything he doesn't have to at this time.

I hope not, but that could be the case.

Anything he spends now would go on the new owners books but it wouldn't be smart to spend the new owners money. Who ever said Dan was smart?

I would hope that Snyder would be a "stand up guy," meaning, that he would allow the Commanders to have a ocmpetent offseason (i.e. signing Payne, etc) but I don't have any faith that he will do that.

If they sign nobody this offseason, it means that they lose Payne and Holcolmb. On the other hand, they'll probably get back Mathis from injury, have Ridgeway, and apparently a stud backup lb in Hudson.

Lol...and then spent an entire offense building pass heavy offense with the roster.

They tore down the oline as well. Surely a run heavy game is predicated on a superior oline right?

Somebody is full of it.
