lol, no way he had the career like Howell and Howell played for UNC not Liberty. Howell played against big time schools like Clemson. You gott be kidding me. bad example.
And Lawrence played against even bigger schools like LSU, Bama, Notre Dame, and Ohio State. What is your point?

point is Howell played against more talent in college than Willis. Why do you jump in on conversations? skinsdad is comparing Willis production to Howell in college. Where Howell played against way better competition and played well.

Because we are all sick of your agenda posting and don't know what you are talking about.
We all struggled with your 2022 Wentz non-sense and now it is 2023 and Howell.

Does anything ever change with you? Seriously...

Sure thing, Rex.....

If suffering through the insufferable Tom Brady would net the Commanders Sean Payton, I might be inclined to do that. Of course, there is a 0.0% chance that it happens....

And Lawrence played vs tougher schools then Howell , dean , the numbers are there for willis and he was selected higher because of it . See production happens no matter What level .

I think the scouts got it wrong with Howell. How can you project a guy to be the #1 pick than a year later he goes in the 5th? No injury.

I had him graded out as a late 4th/ early 5th at his brightest moments when playing for Carolina, I think that the 1st round projection was a massive over-evaluation because of the hunger for QBs.

I saw projections in the 3rd round. Maybe teams didn't like his size. He is small. I don't know how it was an over-evaluation he dominated in college football that year. and played against good competition.

I factored in his size and perhaps my blind spot when assessing Kyler Murray played a role in my evaluation of Howell. I openly admit that I didn't do my usual self-check when making this particular evaluation. ( I generally re-read everything written here by everyone including myself = self-check) The search engine on this site is a really nice feature.

College football is a multi-tiered thing with the SEC being the closest thing to the NFL, I don't rate the ACC as being in line with the top football conferences in America outside of individual schools like Clemson and at one time in the past Florida State and the U (Miami). This level of competition carried some weight in my evaluation and resulted in his 4th, to early 5th-round projection.

So, you had Willis ranked ahead of Howell going into the draft? Wasn't Howell a 4 year starter at UNC? Doesn't that hold weight going into the NFL?
