I'm narrowing down to Mayer and one of the LT's in the draft at 16 there are some really good corners and linebackers later in the draft they gotta trade down somewhere and get more picks

So, you had Willis ranked ahead of Howell going into the draft? Wasn't Howell a 4 year starter at UNC? Doesn't that hold weight going into the NFL?
Yeah, it was based on basic skills, accuracy, arm strength, and overall position command. On this last point let me make it clear. Mack Brown is a really good coach and I gave more weight to Howell being a product of the system whereas Willis was the offense at Liberty. I did not, before you ask, give Willis a very high grade for playing against the competition that he faced.

lol. great post and sty doesn't believe in luck, ha!
The Eagles didn't schedule their opponents, what they did however was to prepare for the opponents that they had to face really well. The results aren't a result of luck, but one of preparation.

lol. they played an average Giants team, a 49ers team who didnt have a QB and will play a banged-up Chiefs' team with a less than 100% PH. Pretty easy road to me.

Yeah, but there's nothing lucky about it... they play the games on their schedule and could have just as easily lost, except for the fact that they were prepared for the moment and the results are as we now know them.

The Bengals had every opportunity to "come after" Mahomes who was injured, they did not. Shame on them. The Eagles will. The same Eagles team we handled last time out.

3 people walk down the same street on a very rainy day. They all stop on a corner in observation of do not walk sign. One of them seeing a large puddle of water in a space where passing cars would splash on pedestrians took several steps back in order to avoid that from happening. Moments later two are completely soaked by water while the 3rd is completely dry. For the person moving back, was this a matter of luck or preparation?

Why did BP go down? Was it because of "bad luck" or because the Eagles schemed well and got to him?

freak injury. that game is totally different if it wasn't for the injury.

Can't seem to get an direct answer from you! So, let's try this... does that "freak injury" happen just because or does it happen because of something forced by human activity?

sure, it happened on the hit, but that it's a rare injury that basically gave the Eagles the game. put it this way the Eagles have not been tested in the playoffs.
