It is not a narrative... it is quoting our head coach. So do we trust an anonymous and nameless source or Rivera himself? Rivera has said multiple times it is what he wanted. Skinsdad even posted the meltdown video of Rivera getting angry about being asked who wanted Wentz during a press conference. As usual, I have provided evidence...you have provided hearsay and conjecture.

I provided an ESPN article that talked about Gibbs and Rivera evaluating Wentz and others. They decided on Wentz and Gibbs even said, "we got our guy". He didn't say we got Dan's guy"...he said we got "our guy". Feel free to buy into the conspiracy theory crap...that is your business. Every mistake this team and organization makes is NOT the fault of Dan Snyder.

This came from googling Snyder and Wentz:

"It was 100 percent a Dan move," anonymous Commanders staffers told ESPN of the Wentz acquisition. Snyder had previously told associates for years, ESPN reported, that acquiring a prominent signal-caller would protect him from repercussions related to other issues: "All my problems will be solved," he allegedly said, "if I can just get a marquee quarterback." Washington essentially dealt a pair of third-round draft picks to land Wentz from the Colts this spring, absorbing the QB's full 2022 salary-cap hit of $28.3 million.

Rivera has since disputed Snyder's reported push for Wentz, saying in a team statement that he, not Snyder, was behind the initial recruitment of the embattled former Eagles and Colts starter: "Prior to the start of free agency, I went to Dan and Tanya's home," Rivera said, per the Richmond Times-Dispatch, "and told them Carson Wentz was one of the quarterbacks at the top of our list, and as always, the Snyders were supportive of our vision for building this roster."

This is all I am going to say about this as I am not going on a merry-go-round with you again. I was right on every point I argued with you on and moving on. Cheers!

I gave you an opinion from others. I do not have an agenda to push. I do not.

In the end the team needs a quarterback and has since KC left.

Sportster is being more truthful here than usual: he does love any and all things KC.

Even when KC shits the bed, as per usual, in high pressure situations.

Let me get this straight.

Your original rebuttal said that "reports" said that Wentz was a "Dan deal". You then said that this has been repeated more than once. You further stated that the deal "smells of Snyder" and you are now saying that these are "opinions of others". Which is it?

I provided you with actual quotes from John Keim, Joe Gibbs, and Ron Rivera (multiple quotes) supporting the fact that Wentz was Rivera's target. These articles clearly state that Rivera wanted Wentz all along and then arranged meetings with Gibbs to confirm that direction.

To clarify, Keim, Gibbs, and Rivera are all masking Snyder's marching orders and involvement in this trade. This is a massive conspiracy including our former 3X Super Bowl coach, ESPN, and the current HC of the Commanders.

Which sounds more plausible...Snyder ordering Rivera to pull off this trade and multiple parties agreeing to create a huge cover-up, OR our inept HC who has no clue how to run a front office leading the charge for this trade?

I am not a conspiracy theory fan so I will rely on the facts. Regarding your agenda posting...we will have to agree to disagree on that one.

You still refuse to admit I was right about Rivera, Turner, and Wentz.

Slim, you haven't heard me endorse RR or Wentz. What am tired of is you repeating the same thing 9350735375085 times.

in sporters defense , he is a military man like myself . . we we get orders we dont like we make them our own . no leader says the owners wants this so we have to do this

RR came from a military family . now i dont know if unnamed sources from the wapo mean anything . i dont tend to give them more then a nod but he was challenged on his authority by the reporter and he certainly would get irate about it . we will know soon

I understand that and I come from a military family as well.

I still see no credible evidence that Snyder personally ordered Rivera to trade for Wentz. I could be wrong but this is sounding like a conspiracy to me.

Rivera struggles with many things and I do not believe his judgment on the QB position is solid at all. He tried with Haskins, Allen, TH, Fitz, and Wentz in 3 years. I freely admit that QBs aren't Snyder's cup of tea either.

Slim, you haven't heard me endorse RR or Wentz. What am tired of is you repeating the same thing 9350735375085 times.

You gave me a hard time saying we need to "wait and see" on Rivera when he was hired. I said we were doomed the day Rivera was hired. I think every poster here has now admitted that. The source you posted was the same article I posted? It is an anonymous source. Why would ESPN and Keim waste their time posting about the Rivera and Gibbs conference if Snyder was calling the shots all along? It doesn't make any sense unless we think this is all a side show and conspiracy. Again, I provided quotes from Gibbs, Keim, and Rivera. This is more credible than un named sources.

You also would argue with me on Wentz period. I said that trade was a bust the day it was announced. I think every poster has now admitted that.

You called me out on Turner several times and a few weeks ago claimed that he "wasn't as bad as people have said". Turner is terrible and has regressed in his tenure here. I think every poster here has admitted that now.

Be tired of what I posted as much as you want. It took 9 months but some posters finally admitted what I had stated was correct. I am ready to move on. I was never excited about this season and predicted 7 or 8 wins due to the 3 reasons above.

If what I am saying is so annoying, why do you continue to read it and respond? You clearly ignore other posters like Dean. It doesn't make any sense that you purposely ignore some posters but have chosen to read and respond to me?

You might want to look at your own posts before calling me out. Your posts consist of the great Kirk Cousins, Snyder is the reason for every mistake ever with this team, and Dotson is amazing because he went to Penn St. I am tired of it but I don't care at this point to be honest. Again, I am ready to move on and drop this.

I don't give a fuck what you think is credible and what isn't. I made a comment and I don't think it was pulled out of thin air.

As far as quoting me for three years ago .... get a life dude. You don't get to tell me what I can comment on or not. You got your panties in a wad because I suggested it might have happened. I told you to block me if you don't want to read what I have to say.

You can comment on anything you want. It's a message board

And I will continue to successfully defend myself and prove you wrong time and time again. You don't intimidate me. Clearly you are upset over something.

You talk about credibility but have literally challenged people to a fight on a message board? Let that sink in.

I have repeatedly said I am ready to let this go. It is absurd.

It is cool dad.

What is most important to duke is that everyone thinks he is right. Most of what he has been going on about everyone agrees with him. It is a forum where people express opinions .... even if it sounds like "I told everyone e he was hired ....." or "I don't understand how I am the only one that sees this ....."

He was even right about Dotson being from Penn State .... of course I watched everyone of his games so I had a good idea in what I saw.

Mike Wilson just got on national TV and said sources from the team said the players have wanted to play with Falco since Labor Day ! And our coach went with Wince vs the browns anyway !
if true then this is a huge mistake and misreading of the locker room
