Lucas, JD, And McCain were important resigns. Plus, we added Norwell. The Oline looks set, with Charles and Lucas being the main backups.

If RR wants to show the fan base that he/organization are serious about winning, sign Wagner period! Nothing he has done in FA says we are serious about winning with exception of low end signings of mainly backups except Norwell who signed cheap. Restructure some contracts, apply your best strategy to get discussions with Wagner and make your move. (Swing for the fences, remember Ron)

You want to fire up a fan base and create real promise about the direction of the team and send a message to other teams, get Wagner in here to play with Young, Payne, Allen & Sweat. You cannot simply trot out Davis, Holcomb & whomever at LB again this year. "If" this happens, he would likely draft BPA at #11 or trade down for additional picks to find another possible starter and restock the shelf's so to speak. Why is this so hard?

Other than the likely fact that they'd have to pay Wagner like he was a top tier QB to come to DC probably nothing. But if Wagner wants to win another SB title Washington isn't the place to be.

With Wagner and possibly another CB at #11 or trade down aquiring a top flight CB, this defense could be elite this year. Do you not agree? To your point, desired destination, no it is not.
