Sponsors leaving will be the one thing that might get Dan out. What we want to see now is other sponsors fill the pressure and leave too. Same thing that happened to the Redskin name.

Shame on sponsors if they take a stand on the name but not sexual harassment/abuse.

Man, the owner of an NFL franchise has a golden goose on fertility drugs--the money coming from the media deals alone pays for the players, FO, admin, and stadium employees. And then there are STILL tens-to-hundreds of millions in profits left every year after all those bills are paid. That's why owners think in longer terms than the players. .

yup. they are going to be around for decades. players maybe 5 years tops on avg.

I have said this before, you have to have a good group of players on rookie contracts. You also have to be smart about who you pay big money. Sadly once guys get past that rookie contract you are going to lose some guys you like. I miss the old days when you could keep a guy for 10 - 12 years or more.
