Be another stupid move on Washington FO's part if they do that. The only real hope they have of keeping TM is if they win this year. And I don't mean go 9-8 or 10-7 n get bounced from the playoffs in the 1st rd. I mean go 12-5 and win at least 1 playoff game which really isn't winning either. It would look like progress though and that's what needs to be experienced by TM n others.

With Wagner and possibly another CB at #11 or trade down aquiring a top flight CB, this defense could be elite this year. Do you not agree? To your point, desired destination, no it is not.

The defense was supposed to be elite last year. Concerning anything about the Washington Football Team I'm from Missouri partner. They got to show me. Posters on a message board saying it doesn't make it so even if that poster happens to be me.,

If they do not sign players like Wagner who is available, they won't be able to show you because we all know the current players/roster does not have that promise. We are signing middle tier replacement players on a less than middle tier team at the moment.

JD, Norwell, Lucas, Sims etc will not increase our win totals, that's for certain.

and as soon as you have the money then maybe they will do this . right now we have less then 12 mil with a draft class needing to be paid for

i dont see us doing anything until after the draft if ever

Yeah price is the issue . He is a 10 yr vet with a great career so far but at some point he will hit his downside

I would pay $16M for 2 seasons, all guaranteed. He would consider it. Fair offer since nothing else seems to be materializing and his added experience and vet prescience he would bring to our defense and front 7. He would complete our defense and we can draft a corner and safety for depth. Just my opinion.

i see this as true about comp picks

I do too. When a team thinks it's gonna get a 3rd rd comp pick, they're gonna bend over backwards to ensure they keep it. That means the team is gonna try hard to only sign outside players who were cut and those whose contracts are so cheap it falls below the comp formula threshold.
