I mean I still think $30M is a bit ridiculous, but who knows where it'll be next year. There's only a handful of receivers making that (Lamb, Aiyuk, Jefferson, Brown, and Adams). MOST #1 receivers are in the $25M range it seems. But Lamb, Aiyuk, and Jefferson were the recent signings...

Anyway, to your point, someone will probably pay it. I think the Skins can do better though. A lot of players want to play for the Skins. I wouldn't be surprised if the Skins snag Higgins for a 4 year $100M deal ($25M per). McLaurin is also due and going to be looking for a contract. Is it worth moving on from him to snag Higgins? I mean Tee is 4 years younger... that deserves a premium.

Honest question for you @gkekoa , would you rather have Higgins or Metcalf (who may also shop around)?

The reason those other WRs are where they are is because of when they signed. I would take Tee over Aiyuk and Adams all day.

I would jump at Tee for 4 years 100 mil and I am hoping that is where he comes in but I doubt it is. TM is coming up but he will be 30. Nothing precludes from signing both, especially with JD on his rookie deal. Miami has Hill at 30 and Waddle at 28 mil.

I would much rather Tee Higgins. DK reminds me of David Boston…a genetic freak never really met the hype…granted Boston’s was not exactly all genetics.

It's gonna be interesting to see what Seattle does with DK. I know he missed some games, but JSN is already ahead of him. Course Lockett will be gone (just way too much cap, he signed a deal/restructured knowing he'd be cut)...

The one decent position this draft is WR. Again, should be interesting.

I think you guys need to resign DK and possibly still draft a WR. The NFL is changing rapidly and you cannot have too many playmakers. While I am not a DK fan, there is merit to keeping him, even at 30 million.

I hope we sign Tee and draft a WR if he warrants the pick.

Let's say both things happen (sign Tee and draftva WR) what do you think happens with the Brown duo, LMc, and Z-man?

I think DK can still hit another level, he's unstoppable at times and human at other times. Seems like a good locker room guy too. Just from the mocks, I've only seen a few standout guys at WR. That will change closer to the draft

Well we would obviously have TM, TEE, rookie, and LMc. I would hope we talk to all three of the other WRs because all can play a role but not at a cost worth mentioning as I see their services as easily replacable. Find out their market rates and maybe sign all three or none. I think Dyami can be kept at league minimum, Z close to minimum, and I have no idea about Noah.

Terry McLaurin
Tee Higgins
Evan Stewart/Tez Johnson/Tai Felton (2nd or 3rd round)
Luke McCaffrey
Dyami Brown

Not sure about the last spot.

That's my wishlist.

Loveland at TE if he's there in the 20's.

Give Jayden that next year and I'll be a happy man.

Ha!

UCLA fired associate head coach/offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy.
Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger was the first to report the story. The former Chiefs offensive coordinator has now gone one-and-done in back-to-back seasons with the Commanders (2023) and UCLA Bruins (2024). Things never clicked for Bieniemy at UCLA, as his offense ranked 126th among 134 FBS schools in points per game (18.4), and 117th in offensive yards per game (328.8). Once a popular name in NFL coaching cycles, it’s safe to say the shine has worn off Bieniemy over the last two years. He’ll likely draw interest from NFL clubs next offseason, but the two-time Super Bowl-winning offensive coordinator may not be in charge of offensive play-calling at his next landing spot.

I assume you mean Warren. Sportster may know better, but he feels more like an H back to me. Could be wrong. If Loveland is gone, I'd rather them wait and take Gadsden II or Ferguson. Big boards will be different by the draft but there are some good decent TE prospects.

Wagner, Fowler, Lucas, Noah.

Chinn has been good too.

I think ertz can go, and I would resign tress way for a team friendly contract due to longevity and I like the guy, but he isnt a must have.
