I assume you mean Warren. Sportster may know better, but he feels more like an H back to me. Could be wrong. If Loveland is gone, I'd rather them wait and take Gadsden II or Ferguson. Big boards will be different by the draft but there are some good decent TE prospects.
Tyler Warren is a 4th year TE for Penn State. He has just under 1,000 receiving yards for this season. Under new to Penn State Andy Koltelnicki he has been Penn States leading offensive weapon. He from the slot, from the backfield and he can block as well. He can play next to a Tackle, Andy has also used him as Wildcat RB and has thrown a pass or two. I don't know his 40 time but he will be one of the highest TE picks in 2025 .... depending on thee underwear Olympics.

So Dean, I notice the facepalm, but who is rated higher on PFF…BSJ or iggy?

who cares. BSJ has been a disaster here. I think Iggy gets more playing time than BSJ when Latimore takes the field. IMO BSJ will not be signed back

OK. I think you are extremely biased because BSJ is not as bad as you claim. I am not saying he is good and Iggy may get more playing time but BSJ is in fact rated higher than Iggy (not by much). BSJ has had to play against number one WRs. He is far from a number one corner.

We need depth at the position and for a couple million, BSJ is not a bad signing.

No problem. He has been the star of the offense. I checked a couple of mocks for what it is worth and saw him drafted anywhere from the 1st round to the 3rd but always one of the top two TEs. They have put up a lot more points this year with new OC Kolelnicki.. He set almost all of the TE records at Penn State this year.

Abul Carter is liable to be the first Penn State player drafted. If not him then I think it will be Warren.

I think the team needs a CB and WR most.

There have been no signs of improvement from this guy thru the years. Yes he has to cover the #1 WR this year but what about the other years? He had cover the #2 and still got burned. Heck, Sanstrill did a better job on Brown this year and he is the Eagles #1 WR. I think Iggy will be brought back so we are talking about a #4 CB. I would think Peters and DQ would want their own guy and draft one or pick one up in FA.

Its been seen that if you are not a Peters or DQ guy you really have to perform to stick on this roster. BSJ hasn't. There should be super low demand for this guy in FA. Same goes for Forrest, I think he is a goner too.

Okay, I wasn't sure if he was the pure route runner that this offense is going to need at the TE position. Ertz has definitely exceeded expectations. This offense schemes the TE open.

Ertz is definitely finding soft spots but once he has it, he can't move. I would love to unlock that position.

If Sinnott can be that guy.....great. Problem solved. I want them to fix the defense in FA. Peters called the Jets about DJ Reed during the deadline. He was in SF when the 49ers drafted Reed. Paring Reed with Lattimore and putting Sainristil back in the slot could allow us to go offense in the draft.

Higgins would be nice. He'd provide the big target that we are missing. This offense still needs a burner that can take the top off the defense. Tez Johnson, Tai Felton, and Evan Stewart are some names I hope are there in the 2nd or 3rd.

I know Demarcus Lawrence is up there in age, but he is real good against the run. A team friendly deal to reunite him with Quinn and Whitt is something I wouldn't be mad at.

That would leave TE or RT as viable options with our 1st.

All good thoughts. I have said in other threads I am staying away from personnel decisions and leaving that to AP and DQ .... at least until they pull an RR.

I have mostly stayed away from the Tee Higgins discussions because I don't believe he is the only FA that can help and again AP & DQ know what they want and how much they are willing to spend.

No offense meant to those who enjoy engaging in this type of discussion.

None taken. I love speculating because it selfishly feels like a win if and when Peters signs or drafts a guy you've been advocating for. It's fun. Lol

You don't like what Fowler and Igbinoghene have done this year?

My bad , armstrong hasn't lived up to his contract. I may need to look at some PFF grades on him but he's been a ghost more times than not

Armstrong has been okay, I've seen him bite on a few and not hold his containment assignment. I'm 90% sure his contract as an off ramp after this year if we want to.

If we release him post June we save 1m and take a 4m dead cap hit. If they really want to, they could move off of him.

I thought Dorrance would at least get 10 sacks, or standout in pressures.
maybe he's better next year but I think signing Lawrence would be more of the same problem

Possible. I'm just trying to figure out a way to stop the run next year. He excels in that. Maybe having Lattimore will allow us to cheat Chinn into the box. At this point, I'm willing to bring Allen back.

I've watched the All22 and I really can't put my finger on why we are getting washed out in the run. Payne hasn't been good this year either, but he's drawing doubles here and there.
