I wonder if Danny Dimes could be more effective with the right coaching.

Lord knows that if Sam Darnold could be, then Dimes could be too.
It’s possible

I don't get all the Tee Higgins love on this forum. The 2025 draft class is not good, but probably the best position in that draft is WR. Just draft a guy... and you can probably get some vets that will be cheaper.. possible guys like Kupp, Lockett, etc. I don't understand why you'd overpay right now for a WR who is coming off an injury of all things, lol.

What the Skins should be looking to do is spending money to improve their OL and spending heavily on that position specifically (and DL) with all their cap... that will help them. They may also need to spend on ILB because Wagner isn't getting younger... these are two positions (OL/ILB) that are heavily weak in the draft and not going to be cheap in free agency, while a lot of NFL players are chomping at the bit to play for the Skins. And I'd argue DL isn't that great either... the Skins are still one of the worst rushing defenses in the league.

Tee Higgins for $30M a year (or whatever it is) would be an absolutely stupid signing from the Skins IMO. I mean hey, I'm a Hawks fan, and the Skins are in the NFC... so I'll hope for it... because I think it's an F grade all the way.

I get it's fun to speculate and think "We got weapons OMG" but here I am as a Seahawks fan watching all the weapons we have on offense, and we can't do a fuckin' thing because the OL is trash tier. And until Mike traded for Jones and is now starting a rookie ILB the defense was absolute trash tier.

I'm absolutely baffled why Skins fans want Tee Higgins and are willing to pay him nearly $30M per. And he's not a WR1... he's barely had over 1K yards twice, and that was with Chase BOTH years. And he's had injuries all throughout this career.

Whatever, whoever pays $30M (or even $25M+) for Tee Higgins is a fuckin' idiot.

And that's how you end up like the Browns. :pound:

I get it, skinsdad.. but TEE HIGGINS!? For $30M a year? I saw someone on this forum post they'd be fine with something around that amount (can't recall the thread but it's on here) and I for the life of me couldn't understand it.

LOL.. played for the Bengals as well. I understand Higgins is younger, but MAN does it have a similar ringtone. Got paid, and then had a decent season, then ceased to exist in the NFL lol. And of course the prior 1K yard season was with Ocho... who was a #1...

Tee Higgins... lmao, again the team that pays that guy anything over $20M is going full retard. I hope it's not the Skins because I do root for you guys (at least when it doesn't impact the Hawks lol).

Yeah. It would be horrible to have a 25 year old, 6’4” WR, that averages almost 65 yards per game and .44 TD, while catching 65% of his targets.

I mean DK is a year older and does his stellar 66 yards per game, .5 TDs, and 60% of targets.

I don't think DK is worth $30M either, but he does at least stretch an offense. Nobody cares about Tee Higgins.. Chase is the only factor on that team. And now even DK is getting exposed since JSN is picking it up.

Whatever, I hope you guys give Tee Higgins $30M a year. You'll be quickly an irrelevant team again. And saw your last post... Tee > DK? LMFAO... dude, get the F outta here. Tee is playing with a generational QB talent, one of the better #1 WRs in the league... and DK has been playing with one of the worst OLs, a makeshift QB rotation... give me a fuckin' break.

I personally dont really het the tee higgins love either.

I havent done a deep dive into his stats, but when i watch his games, he doesnt seem like a true #1 to me. He seems like he’d be an expensive wr who wouldnt upgrade the wr corps to commensurate to his cost.

I think at the least it will be 26 mil per . Now we have cap space but lately Higgins has been injury prone much like lattimore

Tee Higgins and Joe Burrow were rookies in 2020. Jamar Chase in 2021.

As a rookie, Tee had 908 yards and 6 TDs in 16 games.

In 2022, Jamar Chase missed 4 games. Tee had 371 yards and 2 TDs, going 3-1.

In 2023, Chase missed one game. Tee had 140 and a TD.

In 2023, Burrow missed 7 games. Tee had 3 healthy games during that time where he had 273 yards and 3 TDs. The one game without Burrow and Chase, Tee had 140 and a TD.

For his career, he has averaged 65.2 yards per game and .44 TDs while catching 64% of his targets.

By comparison, TM averages 66 yards, .35 TDs, and a catch rate of 63%.
DK averages 66 yards, .51 TDs, and a catch rate of 60%.
Garrett Wilson 63 yards, .27 TDs, and 58%.
Drake London 56 yards, .27, and 64%.

This season, Tee is 7 in yards per game, 7TDs (if we use his average per game) which would be tied for 4th, and a catch rate of 66%.
