7-9 winsyou mean 7-10 overall record?

7-9 wins
Dean it’s ends up being middle of the road no matter what 9 on the plus side 7 on the negative side if I pick 7 and we win 8 does it really mean anything at this point in may ?Thats bull shit. You can't even pick a record. We should have a separate thread for this and get everyones record prediction. Sound like a good idea?
I love that you called skinsdad a lazy evaluator. lol. He has us at 7-10
Lazy evaluator or you not wanting to see we aren’t very good
Well good but after back to back losing yrs I will have to see way more to jump to 11 win predictionsYes and yes.
Actually that is Factnonsense.
There are a lot of variables with this team .... I'd say between 7 and 10 win is a fair range. What have we really added on defense? There is a chance that unit may not be able to get off the field again this year.
Losing Ioannidis, Settle and Landon and expecting Mathis and Butler to pick up where those guys left off is a big ask imo.
Sure Davis contributes this year, Sweat and Young combine for 20 sacks, and they let Jackson III play to his strength. Mathis, Butler, and BSJ are upgrades.
If all those things happen we have a shot, but what if those things don't happen, Wentz is shot, Howell isn't ready and Heinicke is Heinicke. I could see 7 wins.
On the flip side, we get Philly(mvp) Wentz. Samuel plays 17 games. Dotson is electric and we get the 2020 defense. That's a 10 or 11 win team.
I dont think 10 or 11 is crazy talk, but neither is 7. Jmo
0-3 is definitely on the table. In fact we might start out 1-2
The reason they couldn't bring Settle back was probably money. Settle got 4.5M/year while the 47th pick last year got a 1.8M/year deal. Clearly the FO is thinking they can eventually get similar production at one-third of the price.Tim Settle had 34 solo tackles and 7 sacks in four years. That is 1.5 sacks and 8.5 tackles per year. That doesn't seem to add up to $4.5 million per year.
I wouldn't be shocked if the Bills head coach gets more but what stats should you get for $4.5 million a year.
There is more to the story ... sort of. Settle had his most productive year under JDR in 2020. Last year he got very little playing time. I read an article that they tried to do the same thing with him as they did with McKissic. They offered to match Buffalo's offer but Settle said no thanks. The reason they couldn't bring Settle back was probably money. Settle got 4.5M/year while the 47th pick last year got a 1.8M/year deal. i think you had to keep him and let ionman go or vice versa . add to it he was probably over drafted and that is why i dont like the pick at 2nd round . 3rd would have been betterThe reason they couldn't bring Settle back was probably money.
