Arrogant fuck
I am so tired of this guy getting any screen or air time.

He cannot be trusted at all. One minute he is claiming he stayed up all night in celebration when Harris bought the team.

The next minute, he is claiming he was had no support in WSH and rips the Shanahans. The dude literally had the ear of the owner...he never mentions that.

He is easily outwitted.

I remember debating with Dean about Rivera and the Wentz trade. I told him that we bid against ourselves clearly and that it was confirmed.

Dean asked "how" was Rivera supposed to know that.

The problem is that everyone else seemed to know it but our organization. It is very frustrating to be honest. I understand that we don't have spies in ever front office, but we have to ask ourselves...why are we the last to know????

It is a good hire because this person was likely brought here by Harris. Harris believes in analytics…probably even the analytics of firing RR this week.
probably just adding on to the washington coaches fired in the offseason.doubt it dies a thing on the field anyway.

Watched an interview with Mark schlereth on a Craig Hoffman podcast.

They were talking about the commanders offense.
Schlereth said something that just dawned on me.
He said the main problem in Washington is the way the offense was built. He said EB can only work with the product he was given.

He then said that the problem is that they built the offense from the outside in, not inside out.

I always thought simply adding 2 or so OLinemen would fix it, but the original plans from rivera seemed to be the approach of outside in.

It's great to have 3 good wrs, but it doesn't man anything if the OLine can't block.

I would not be surprised if we have 4 new OLine starters next year once the new GM arrives. I am not sure we sign both young and sweat as the new GM will have to throw considerable assets at the OLine. We should have the cap clearly to do it, but the GM might want to spread the cap out.

Ron's great failure was at OL and QB. I am not absolving EB, he had to be behind bringing Wylie in and I suspect they would have been better off with Larsen. It seems to me that RR and his band of merry men made personnel decisions but decided those people would play because they made moves. EB was supposed to select the starters so again, he is not absolved.

He has brought in three RBs, multiple WRs and a hole bag full of QBs. Stinky's outside in comment is 100% correct.

I was okay if the tackle they wanted was not there at number 1 was not there to get a CB. I am not down on Forbes ... I question the coaching. I am not down on Dotson, I believe he caught 9 TD passes with an OC folks hated.

I thought picks 2-4 should have been OLineman. My 2nd round pick would have been Torrance that watch how the draft fell.

JMO but it is time to completely move away from Dan. Whether Josh gets it right at first in not my big worry. I hope the organization looks like it has a clue going forward.

I doubt we can sign Sweat and Young, reasonably.

I am a big fan of spreading out the cap. I believe in one well paid player per level on both offense and defense. The OL and DL can have two.

I am not for paying $80 million in cap space for the DLine.

Those are choices and they are legit ones to make and defendable. But with a 100 mil plus in cap space we can afford paying the d/line and still spread the cap out. We also can draft better.

I just dont want to hear “ we can’t afford it “ when that simply isn’t true . What should be said is we want new toys to play with

We drafted and developed those players so losing them is a net loss. We will never get number 2, overall value for chase and not 1st round talent for sweat. That’s a net loss

I am down on Forbes because he should be ascending now not averaging 2.5 snaps a game . He was supposed to get turnovers and make plays and yet he sits behind Danny Johnson , a UDRFA journeyman, and we passed on legit and productive CBs and o/lineman

The thing is no player is safe when the new regime takes over and new philosophies

I didn't suggest they couldn't afford all four guys. What I said is I would not like to have that amount spent on one line. Ultimately that will be up to Harris and new FO and coaches if that is to the
As far as Forbes goes. I have watched Fuller, St. Juste and Forrest all get beat long. Why haven't been benched? You have been upset at previous draft choices if they don't draft guy you like. That is fine. I wanted them to draft Joey Porter Jr. but knew that was going to happen so I am not going to rag on a game for a few games played. Especially when others have not played well. Maybe a new coach finds a way to play better, maybe not.

Understand that wasn’t directed at you solely. I had that debate with several posters who flat said we couldn’t afford them which isn’t and wasnt true . We absolutely can and I said that yrs ago
