Sure, it's important but if Howell doesn't play well, you think RR names JB the starter for Week 1?

There's the rub. Didn't really chase anyone in FA and passed in the draft. If Howell flops that's a bad look of Ron and Co.

That said I could immediately see him turn to Jacoby to try and salvage his job. We all know Jacoby is a good back up but that's about it.

It would mean Ron had 5 years to find a QB and couldn't do it. Howell's play is so important to Ron having any shot of being here next year.

Sure but they gave good money for JB to come here. He is the insurance plan if Howell faulters. I think RR rolls with Howell for Week 1.

Its just that the AFC is loaded this year. Tough to make a bet on an AFC team to make the playoffs. I was thinking about doing the Jets.

As I have already mentioned although you and I do not bet it is a big part of the game for many fans. Same for Fantasy football which does not interest me either.

I think who is favored will always be around.

Naw....I have only said that since he was hired. I gain nothing from accumulating converts and i am not driving off posters. Those are the main differences.

I couldn't care less if people believe it or not. Anyone can do a simple search of Ron Rivera and use common sense. I post on different topics and love to talk about a variety of issues surrounding the team.

I would easily beat chiller or gkeoka as the malcontent if a poll had us all included. Calling chiller the board malcontent is laughable. Even he has told me to keep my chin up during the dark days of the team...which is every year.

Chiller is one of the smartest posters on the board. That is why he is given a tough time. His intelligence intimidates people IMO. He hated snyder the same as everybody else and pulls for the team more than I do.

I think Chill is a bright guy but likes to blame the world for individual choices. He has the privilege of living in the US but seems to hate everything the US has ever been. I honestly see him as a child that has never actually been challenged in life, just like every millenial. They don’t appreciate the gifts that enjoy because they compare their life to that of a CEO instead of a third world Joe.
