I am going to be taking a break shortly from the board, but I think the notion of going back to the Redskins is just not realistic.

Snyder was roasted by the media...both news media and sports media. Why would Harris open the organization back up to this type of scrutiny? Would it be nice...sure...is it going to happen...I can honestly say that there is a zero % chance of going back to the Redskins with the old uniforms.

We live in a different world than we did 5 years ago and people forget that sponsors were leaving and sports websites/affiliates were beginning to pull Redskin merchandise. Any political support for a stadium would be eliminated. It might not be fair...but it is reality.

I am confused why some people haven't figured this out yet. It's like some people want to stay trapped in the past. There is no way that the minority partners would sign off on this...even if Harris wanted to do it. I also think the team itself would not support it...that being the players.

No offense to Julie because I think she is a good sports journalist but she was hired because of the trouble Dan was getting into. It will be interesting to see where they go. I wouldn't mind if they replaced Bram Weinstein too.

i dont know about the broadcasts but the videos they did and press conferences often times were horrible from a tech standpoint . no sound out of focus .

Never heard her broadcast a game, but her hiring did seem like a pretty desperate move by Snyder of saving face.

I like the O’s woman broadcaster whose name I forgot - Melanie something I believe. She’s pretty great, IMO.

Nobody beats Sonny, Frank, and Sam though. Except maybe Jim Palmer. That dude is perfect for baseball broadcasts….

I have the bet in already on the over 6.5. (-110). I did see it drop to even odds a few days ago for the win total.

I will add some more money for us to make the playoffs. I think we can compete for the 7th seed.

I also did Pats under 7.5-win total. Bears under 7.5-win total. Saints win the division. and Ravens make the playoffs. What do you think?

I think the Ravens miss the playoffs. Cincinnati wins the North and the Bills and Chargers get wild cards. The Ravens may get that final slot but don’t sleep on Cleveland.

Never understood gambling on sports...or gambling in general.
Especially something that you literally have no control over. I cannot see a reason to place a bet on this team with so many questions. There is a reason why Vegas and casinos make so much money. To each their own I guess.

As far as LBs go......hoping Davis can get his jail time in during preseason or after the season. To my surprise, everyone is raving about Barton.....every beat writer.

This team has a bunch of question marks but a ton of potential to be the surprise team in the NFC. For the odds they gave us to make the playoffs I can see why the public is jumping at that.

I think you may be misinterpreting my original post. Based on the odds the public thinks the Skins are a good bet. Now of course the public is usually wrong but to be the #1 bet was striking to me.
