If SH is a good QB, we have the potential to contend. With good QB play last year, we would have won at least 11 games.

This is a new season. We will win between 4 games and 14 games is my prediction. I could be wrong but I am very confident in that approximation.

I got those 4 also. We have beaten two out of those four. We are just as good as the Giants, Vikings, and Seahawks. Not a huge gap there.

I completely disagree with you. We have a top five defense…last year and on paper this year. On paper, it is unarguable we actually got better on defense this offseason.

We have one of the best WR groups in the NFL.

We have a good running game…at least one that is capable of keeping defenses honest.

We do have a questionable OL and I know that scares you.

We have questionable TEs but the position is basically meh.

I would say he biggest difference is EB. Nobody really knows what to expect; however, he is a hard ass and can’t be worse than the crap we use to have.

With average QB play, more like median starter QB play, we should contend for the playoffs and make it…unless our schedule ends up as horrible as it is on paper.

I agree on Goff but he had a great year last year. I believe he was 7th in passing in the league and threw 29 TDs. Very solid year.

That being said, I loved their offseason. They had a great draft and they beefed up their defense, especially the secondary. I think they have one of the best coaches in the game as well. I think they are legit...especially with Green Bay taking a step back.

There is so much unknown. Sam? EB? the Oline? Not to mention injuries ...

Still I want to be optimistic .... EB works out, Sam does "okay" for a very young QB and the Oline holds up under EB.

now it seems DTS are more valuable the DeS . So these overly high estimates to resign Sweat and Chase could be very wrong . Now maybe the edge rush market is oversaturated much like the LB while the safety and its flexibility are on the rise
