I see us going either 17-0 or 0-17 depending almost entirely on if Forbes - excuse me - “stick figure” (so stupid) lives up to skinsdiddle’s billing.

I see us 1-5 in the division

I see the 49ers , Bills as out right losses

I see the dolphins and jets as losses but more 40/60

hawks broncos 50/50

I see falcons , rams bears 60/40 wins

so I see 1-7 vs our division and good teams

a split with dolphins / jets 1-1

a split with broncos/ hawks 1-1

2-1 vs the 60/ 40 teams rams/ falcons / bears

so on face I have us 5-12 , so factor in injuries in our favor and injuries against us I see 7-9

this is before preseason which could change things and TC

As for right now, I will take a stab at it. 2-4 in the division. Losses: Bills, 49ers, Dolphins, and Jets. Wins: Pats, Bears, Cards, Seahawks, Falcons, Rams, and Broncos. Record 9-8

I believe we have a top 10 defense in the league. The offense will be determined on how Howell develops. I gave us 9 wins based on Howell being average and the team wins by strong running game and defense.

I know this, there were more games than not last year that this team played with tremendous effort, even in a loss. I believe this is due to team leadership. ie; Allen, McClauren etc. I do NOT have the confidence the offensive line was addressed properly or the ILB position was addressed with more talent than what left. As for our QB situation, I am not sure what RR has been waiting for but he is going into year 4 with a prayer and hope. I have been told repeatedly, hope is not a plan. Now we are starting Sam Howell, but you didn't want to start Sam Howell all last season. This is feeling more and more like another average season of 9-8 or 8-9. Anotherwards wash rinse repeat. There will be some growing pains with Howell of course and understandably. Looking forward to another gut-wrenching season.

It is impossible to know if anyone in the Washington organization is worth a damn with Snyder as owner. Recently I heard someone from the two local radio stations (both Audacy) say they have so many interns who are paid so little they let Wright down. I guess that is possible but you have to think if it was something like the Shaun Taylor tribute or the name change or even the stupid patch he would have had more control.
It is my hope that Harris comes in and cleans house. Not on day one but within two years. e mostly think of GM and HC but also an entire new front office, new radio people. I have no love for Julie Donaldson or Bram Weinstein. New trainers and doctors and I would do that blonde doctor that runs out on the field but it is time to change everything.

I am not even sure about the ex-football players because most that are young enough played under Snyder. It isn't time to erase the chalk board, it is time to throw it in the trash.

I'm rooting for Ron because with Snyder he's about as good as it gets. With a new owner our options should expand. I've been calling for Wright to be let go.........for the three reasons you listed, plus he was obviously in on the dog and pny show that was the name change.

The report kinda makes sense though. He has not been shy about how he thinks the organization will improve once the sale is complete. (Paraphrasing)

His handling of off field operations was awful from the name to the jersey retirements to Sean Taylor day and statue . If he can’t get those right then how does he get the on field stuff right ? And let’s be real RR is running the show and wright is equal to RR not above him like real football teams operate
