I tend to believe this is actually true and I will tell you why.

Rivera doesn't KNOW a lot about the GM role and has never really grasped it. Dean would disagree with this.

For example:
He didn't KNOW that we bid against ourselves for Wentz and gave up a 3rd round pick unnecessarily.
He didn't KNOW that Wentz was a washed-up QB and literally brought him in as a long-term solution. Wentz is out of the league.
He didn't KNOW the conditions of playoff elimination after the Brown's loss

If he put the organization at risk and we are punished accordingly (loss of high or low-round picks/fine), then hopefully Harris/Magic bring in someone who can assist until Rivera is gone. Keep Rivera on the field, but relieve him of GM duties. We cannot continue to harm our future based on ignorance. We gave up a 3rd for literally no reason, and if we did contact Luck or any of his representatives, we could be punished severely. At any rate, we are on the NFL's radar yet again and this time it has nothing to do with Snyder. It has to do with incompetence and we need to put a stop to it. Rivera could literally cost us a 3rd and 1st (potential) round pick in 4 years on the job. That cannot happen.

I hope it did not happen. We need to stay out of the news and I want the new ownership to have a clean slate. Keep in mind, keim and espn are reporting it, as such, I think there is more credibility here than random opinion sports blogs were usually see.

I would not be surprised if it did happen because Mayhew and Rivera did call every team to inquire about their qb situation. I have never heard of that happening.

As for right now, I will take a stab at it. 2-4 in the division. Losses: Bills, 49ers, Dolphins, and Jets. Wins: Pats, Bears, Cards, Seahawks, Falcons, Rams, and Broncos. Record 9-8

I believe we have a top 10 defense in the league. The offense will be determined on how Howell develops. I gave us 9 wins based on Howell being average and the team wins by strong running game and defense.

Yeah, but you made other predictions if you recall and you know it. To remind you:

Eagles and Commanders were equal teams and would win 11 games each.
-Eagles won 14 and WSH won 8

Wentz and Hurts were on the same level as a QB.
-Hurts led Philly to the SB and is the highest paid QB/player in NFL history (right before Jackson signed later). Wentz is out of the league

The fans would come back once we started winning
-WSH finished dead last in NFL home attendance

Scott Turner's offense would work with Wentz
-WSH finished 24th overall in PTS per game. Turner was fired and Wentz is out of the league.

You said after Week 1 "We found out QB...where is Duke?"
-Wentz went 2-5 and was cut. He is currently out of the league.

You started 2023 by predicting that EB would have GM duties and responsibilities.
-The draft proved that was false and Mayhew himself debunked that.

You said each of these things and predicted they would happen. None of them did. Other posters will back me up on each of these things you said as well. We all saw them. Predictions aren't really your thing.

Samuel was paid $30M 3 seasons ago. We have definitely not been rewarded and that contract was awful. Hopefully his replacement is on the team now because resigning him at those numbers would be awful.

I have never considered you a fan and never will, but others here have actually accused you of being a troll, agenda poster, and even a social media plant from the Commanders. I didn't say the team suxed. I might have called them average, below average, or NOT good, but I didn't say they suxed. You have a habit of making things up: Skinsdad wanting us to draft Jameson Williams, me claiming that we would win 6 games in 2022, and ESPN running a report saying EB would have GM duties. None of those things happened.
