I figured I would get the thread started for this game since we already have one for Texans/Chiefs. Should be a fun one!

What a ride this season, hard to be disappointed no matter the result for me.

I’m picking the Lions, I think their O is just so dominant that they’ll outscore the Commanders. I think it could be a high scoring game though.

I really see this one going either way.

Campbell and the Lions coaches have figured out their defense well enough even with all the injuries it seems to succeed, but this time (just speaking from their last game) they’re contending with JD who has had a sensational season and can attack in multiple ways and not Sam “lose millions in two games” Darnold.

Want to see how JD and all the Skins perform in the spotlight because the Lions are going to be putting up points for sure.

I’ll say Lions just because it’s in Detroit but I don’t think they win by much.

Agreed, Daniels will have to play an amazing game for the Commanders to win, I think the Lions O will put up big numbers against a Commanders D that is somewhat uneven at times

It would be equally helpful if the D can get some key stops and/or a turnover or 2

Looking forward to this game.... Washington bottom 5 defense vs run yards/game so think Lions will be putting up some points... Washington offense will need to keep, they have top 10 offense in yards and points so they very well could.

If game comes down to one possession at end of game... I give advantage to whichever team has the ball in last 2 minutes even if losing.

Moab and I out here most of the time representing the Pack to the best of our ability.

Would be cool if you and RP dropped by more often but I understand if you like watching the games and not focusing on this place.

I have fun talking with people during the games, because my wife will watch with me but there’s more questions than analysis. Lol

Watch all the Packers on Gamepass and pretty focused on game and chatting with family back in States... other games typically watching on TV on the couch and not at the site. If on Gamepass to watch game other than Packers chat a little sometimes.

This was the only consideration I had other than the usual more Detroit major injuries early in the game.

Lions can't play into "We're the best offensive team in the league so we have to score 30+ to WOW the fans and NFL"... just play SMART, solid football. Play it safe. If the Lions get cute with this and try elaborate plays or try to 'trick' the Skins, I think it'll backfire. Throw safe, run safe, limit mistakes, throw the ball away... I know how Jared 'Goof' is... if you have to punt, punt.

Daniels can def. move the ball on his own and score, but it'll be on the ground mostly.

Detroit needs to play SMART football here and not try to 'awe and impress'.

Should be another fun one. They may fool us and have a defensive battle, but I'm expecting to see some points scored in this game.

Lions declared QB Hendon Hooker, OG Kevin Zeitler, LB Mitchell Agude, DT Pat O’Connor, DT Brodric Martin, OL Colby Sorsdal and OT Giovanni Manu inactive for the Divisional Round against the Commanders.
Hooker began the year as the Lions’ No. 2, but was easily jumped by late-season free agent addition Teddy Bridgewater. Already 27 years old, Hendon’s NFL future is looking more theoretical than actual.
