So if he’s worried about the team’s finances it should probably scream volumes.

That said, this was always going to happen - excitement dies down, economics change, the loonie is always destined for the gutter at some point, and Winnipeg has fewer people than some Canadian suburbs let alone major US markets. Sounding the alarm over this just sounds like he’s bored with his toy and wants a new one.

Maybe unrelated but Jazz owner just posted new arena plans. One issue mentioned for SLC is that the arena isn’t great for hockey.
