Well, he was a having a pretty good season in the AHL and most reports say he's an upgrade on Corban Knight. How his game translates to the NHL is anybody's guess. Seems to be pretty good friends with Joe Colborne who will be his linemate tonight.

Just send the kid to Kingston already. The team doesn't NEED him and he won't get much playing time.

I'd also be worried about throwing this kid to the wolves (NHL playoff race) when he hasn't had the benefit of camp, regular practice, etc..

Let him dominate in the OHL for the rest of this year then slide him in next year.

Flames Sam Bennett has been cleared for contact - He could be sent to the AHL for a condtioning stint or back to Kingston. Of course, he could get into some games with the big club.
