I'm still worried about injuries (especially to either Giordano or Brodie) but so far, so good. The Isles continue to look very good as well this season.

What's saving the Isles is they've yet to lose a game in OT or Shootout. I honestly don't care how they get the 2 points as long as they get them. Hopefully both of our teams continue to make a lot of noise the rest of the season.

Who's available? The Oilers aren't going to trade Hall or Eberle to Calgary. Do the Flames want Boedker or Vermette from Arizona? How about Tlusty from Carolina? I just don't see much available right now.

Yeah, any team that goes 8 games without a win doesn't deserve to make the playoffs, yet they are not that far out (would likely need a 5 or 6 game win streak to really augment their chances). Oh well, it's just hockey, a good friend of mine died recently in a car crash and another friend of mine just found out the cancer they thought had been eradicated from his 11 year old son has returned. It definitely puts things in perspective.
