Growing up it was whoever the NHL affiliate of the Clippers/Skipjacks or Hershey Bears was. Sometimes Flyers, Sometimes Caps, Sometimes, for some damn reason, the North Stars. Had a friend who lived in Ottawa so paid a lot of attention to the Sens for a bit. I liked pretty much anyone but the Rangers.

I only settled upon the Blue Jackets for sure once I moved here. Some of us regulars on the ESPN boards would hide out on the Jackets board because it was so quiet, much to the chagrin of one particular Jackets fan...

Jon Casey is always the first I think of when I think of the North Stars.

He was one of my all time faves. He played in Baltimore and was a super nice person. He would always come out and talk with fans after the games and sign autographs as long as anyone wanted. I lost my mind when he went to the Finals.

It was always cool to see guys I saw in the A go up to the NHL.

I really don't know what's going on, Mangiapane is off to a pretty good start points wise this season as well, he's a key player for the Flames and they need him in the lineup. McCann wasn't seriously injured and after a brief rest played the rest of the game, but I still think Andrew should sit for at least two games.

As a Penguins fan I will never forget that idiotic homer Paul Steigerwald saying Tyler Kennedy reminds him of Guy Lafleur.
