Flames apparently listening to offers for Tanguay, Stempniak and Sarich - Tanguay and Sarich can hit the road, but depending on the return, I'd like to keep Stempniak.

happy for Kipper to retire on his terms. not the way you want it missing the playoffs the last few years but its his terms. going to be weird not seeing 34 in that crease.

The career numbers would probably give the nod to Mike Vernon, but in my opinion, there's no doubt he's the best goalie in Flames history. Some people would argue that Kipper is the best player in Flames history, but I still give that title to #12.

I give it to 12 for longevity and everything he has done but Big Al was the best they ever had IMO

lol at the Joel Otto addition - Yeah, Al MacInnis came up as strictly a powerplay specialist and turned into one of the league's best defenseman (he was terrific in the run to the Cup in '89). Geez, that team was a lot of fun to watch.
