I keep seeing speculation that the Leafs should trade for Saros. I am not convinced Trotz is ready to considea it yet, but the day is coming. Soon. Don’t buy the narrative that NSH is in the playoff hunt so they WONT trade Saros. Trotz knows the ceiling on his roster is a WC team and that isn’t good enough.

NSH needs a true #1 C. And more scoring on the wing. So the Nylander for Saros rumo(u)r makes some sense. If Tre doesn’t think he can sigh Willy……..there could be a deal based on this. NSH can easily pay Willy on his next contract.

Saros for Minten and a first? not going to happen. NSH doesn’t need more picks. And TOR will need to juggle cap space to get Saros in this year.

Meh, Raps traded a quarter of their team this morning and the replacements weren’t with the team yet.

It was an easy bet to win even if I was too soft to take it on the ML (Raptors -3.5 was still crazy good). Detroit almost pulled it off against Boston a few nights ago and they’re top of the league.

Dostal stood on his head last night (Ducks record 55 saves). He also played great in a recent game versus the Flames. Ducks have found themselved a goalie I believe.
