1) Kucherov should’ve gotten 5 and a game for boarding Holl, instead he gets a goal and draws a (fucking soft) PP where the third TB goal was scored.

2) JT’s go ahead goal in the third should’ve stood. It was called a goal on the ice and I don’t think you can say from any relay there was a distinct kicking motion rather than an inadvertent leg movement.

3) Beyond the ref bullshit, this was one of the most anonymous Auston Matthews games I’ve ever seen. Like, got through the second period and had to check that he wasn’t in the room or scratched anonymous. If he’s playing through something just fucking put him on IR already, what’s the point of this?

Considering the injuries and the experiment in goal, yeah not much to complain about.

Flip side, we’re almost guaranteed to play these fucking guys again in the playoffs because literally everybody gets to win the Atlantic Division except for Toronto and the refs are so fucking in the bag for this team.

I don’t know if there’s ever been a Leafs depth prospect with as many fans as SDA.

If this guy can stick around it means they found a mid-6 forward who can move the puck and generate offence. Should be fun to find out.
