I remember Allan Bester, but we called him Allan Worster.

I’d blame this one on the goalies but the defence has been awful.

I don’t know wtf Dubas is waiting for, if you’ve got deals lined up you need to make them yesterday. Talk about squandering a hot start.

That Tkachuk empty net miss is looming large now.

I just had to go look. The Freddy Andersen trade not only netted the Leafs a mediocre goalie, it also cost them a first round pick (took Sam Steel but Leafs also had the next pick and could've taken two of DeBrincat, Girard or Kyrou instead of Freddy and Igor Korshkov lol) but also a second round pick in 2017.

That guy? Maxime Comtois.

I came across the latest Steve Dangle podcast/video where he and his two buddies discuss trading Freddy Andersen...The problem is who would take Freddy?

yeah, that's a pretty useless question.

would you trade asset A?
of course. depends on what asset B is
Stories on all the Toronto media right now are "Dubas would trade top prospect for player!". Like, was there a time this wasn't the case for literally any GM?

Yeah they're stuck with that shit unless they pay someone to take him which is pointless unless they really need the cap flexibility for another addition.

Best case scenario is still Campbell getting healthy and taking the net. Freddy as a backup for the rest of the season is fine.

I wish nothing but the best for Wayne, but I think he should take this weekend off and make sure that wrist is fully healed :D

For what it's worth, I put Foligno with Marner and Mathews on my Hockey Ultimate team on NHL 21 and they have 11 goals in 4 games.

All it will cost you is one Nylander to get Foligno.

My god no stop doing this to JT and Willy

I actually think it is gonna work if they have a little patience with it and don't punt him down to the 4th line the first time he blows a coverage assignment.

That may work as I don't think he would be that hard to acquire from Chicago
