Ugh. This Leafs team is just not good. They are not a threat in any way, shape, or form to contend. On paper they probably should be if healthy but they aren't. This is still a team that can't and won't win a Playoff series. It's getting really tiring. IMHO the shine is definitely starting to dull on the Front Office.

Agreed. Been obvious to me for a while now.

They want to play a high skill level game with no physicality (with rare exceptions). They arent getting the penalty calls in the regular season, they will never see a PP in the playoffs when the refs largely put their whistles away. They lose far too many puck battles and still struggle to clear the puck out of the D zone.

The only reason I want them in the playoffs is to worsen the first round pick that Carolina is getting. But it will be a 4-5 game playoff round.
