Wilson, back to Toronto? lol He would be lynched up his arrival at Pearson airport. If Reimer is getting threats, multiply that by 100.

It would be comedy worthy of platinum status though.

poor Habs and Sens must be feeling sad without a comedy thread. :( but you just dont get those you know. your team has to seriously EARN them with ineptitude.

If Ottawa misses the playoffs next year, I think they should be at least eligible for bronze consideration.

If you have read some of Scott Cullen's tweets this morning, advanced stats are being disregarded by the Leafs coaches.

/To be fair, I think Scott Cullen relies on advanced stats too much when it comes to ranking players.

Nonis said that they have had money budgeted for analytics for the past few years but haven't spent any of it cause they didn't think anything was worth it.

I mean, can you imagine having money and free reign to spend it to have people try and answer whatever analytical questions you might have about hockey and saying "nah, I've got no ideas worth pursuing"?

I just re-read this and noticed I did this.... "free rein", not "free reign". Don't know if that's a pet peeve of anyone here, but sorry if it is.

Back on topic:

tsnscottcullen: Same old RT @Hope_Smoke Poulin "our shot differential over the last 8 games is better. So the analytics talk doesn't make a lot of sense"

The Leafs Corsi% with the score close in the last eight games is like 42%, by the way.

markhmasters: Miley Cyrus played ACC last night … "We Can't Stop" hasn't played in the home dressing room here since March 8 (OT win over Flyers)

Just a horrible victory song, no wonder the Leafs are slumping.

They're losing on purpose so they don't have to hear it.

Rielly hails from West Vancouver (lol)

No more of those. Used them both already. He gets bought out, it stays on the cap. Here is the breakdown according to Capgeek.

Capgeek had this wrong initially and has corrected the buyout cap hit to reflect bonus money on clarksons contract

I dont think theyre buying him out lol
