I don't know if the Leafs are being incredibly cheap or Willie's agent and father are being ridiculously stupid in their ask but the Leafs have absolutely zero reason to cave on their position now and I doubt that changes in the near future.

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't looked around and seen who might have a d-man or two to swap out for some help on offence. Is Nashville still having problems with PK Subban?

Maybe the only time I believed Burke's bluster was when he said he had Rielly at #1 on his draft board.

If he didn't fuck up his knee that year he'd probably be an Oiler or Blue Jacket. He ushered in a fucking fantastic era of Leaf first round drafting (pretend 2013 didn't happen).

What's scary is if the Leafs ever give Rielly a partner who isn't an 80 year old pensioner with one functioning leg, imagine how much better everything becomes at the top of the lineup.
