Headline 15 seconds later "AFLIE SAYS WE HOPE FOR NEW OWNER!!!!"
I'm guessing that's the last interview she gets for a while.
Yeah. It's pretty low of her. She's taking one homerun swing that this will be her "break". LOL.
Don't think it's gonna happen.
I can't really see any reason why she wouldn't report this. It's the team's biggest icon saying he wants to see new ownership. It's newsworthy. Not sure why she's being tarred here.
"Off the record" came after he made that comment, according to her. She describes him as having realized what he had just said and in front of whom. The mayor even goes to her after and says "he didn't realize you were a writer" despite the fact that she says she's spoken to him on multiple occasions.really? from specifically told "off the record" to publishing this means that no interview subject will ever trust her again.
so she either gets no interviews again, or she gets yes/no answers from everyone.

So anybody can say something inflammatory in front of a reporter during a session that's on the record, realize their mistake and simply go "that was off the record" and it's fine? How does that make any sense? Is it really that newsworthy, I think the majority of Sens fans want a new owner in place. Also, off the record is off the record, as long as it's stated by the interviewee, the interviewer should abide by that declaration.

Also, Alfie was mistreated by the club (and its owner) in the eyes of many. He obviously has strong views regarding this that he hasn't been public about. I don't see how this isn't newsworthy.

Maybe he wanted to avoid developing uromysitisis.
During the shuttle ride, Flynn said, Lee allegedly rubbed the driver’s shoulders without permission and did not stop when asked. Lee also allegedly made lewd comments, according to Flynn, including “a reference to his own private parts.” When they returned to the hotel, Flynn said, the driver notified security, which subsequently called the Buffalo Police Department.
Weird. Creepy. Kinda dangerous considering he's driving a fucking bus.
