Ron MacLean = HarvardOiler?
Someone messaged the cesspool (appropriately) “if Sens win the stanley cup in the next 4 years, i will eat a tablespoon of soil from Lebreton flats”
Cold take from cold lake !No, MacLean is from Red Deer, HarvardOiler was from Cold Lake.

Pulls up Connor Brown's stats - 43 points (16 goals) in 71 games is nothing to sneeze at. I realize that teams come in way low and the player comes in high.
/Makes the Bread signing look pretty good for the Flames (32 points including 17 goals) in 68 games.
His stats are almost entirely dependent on who he's skating with and as an individual hockey player in general he is very ungood.
Best thing the Sens could do here is settle with him, skate him alongside...I honestly have no idea who's on this team anymore but whoever is considered good there (Tkachuk I guess) and then dump him at the deadline like the Leafs should have after that first season he put up 20 goals skating with Auston Matthews.
/Should mention this is basically how he wound up with 43 pts last season - he spent most of his time skating with Pageau who was their leading scorer before being moved.
So Connor Brown is Steve Rucchin 2.0?
Did you see that feature of Kariya loving life on the beach in SoCal? The guy looks to be in tremendous shape.
Pageau and Tkachuk were the two forwards he spent the most time with 5v5 last season and they were the two leading scorers on the team.So who inflated Brown's stats last year?
Pageau and Tkachuk were the two forwards he spent the most time with 5v5 last season and they were the two leading scorers on the team.
He can't drive any offence on his own and he's very bad defensively. There's a value to a guy who can ride shotgun on a bad team and put up some points but it isn't very high and that team isn't going to want to leave him in that role once they become competitive.
