Jared Jones... 5 innings gives up 1 hit and strikes out 7 on 59 pitches. Yep pull him and go to the awful bullpen. :L

Pirates pull their young stud pitcher to let the bullpen blow the lead.
Torts pulls his goalie in a tie game with 3 minutes left to essentially eliminate the Penguins
Whats next the Steelers gonna announce TJ Watt is retirning or something. :L

Torts is Sullivan's mentor
Sullivan never called Torts to tell him not to do it
Therefore Sullivan needs to be fired.

Scored a power play goal to end his career

He was named 3rd star of the game. Penguins all stayed on the ice with him and stick tapped.

The picture above reminded me as to why the fook isn't Paul Skenes in the majors.

IPs: 12.2 hits: 5 BB: 4 Ks: 27 R: 0 ER: 0 ERA: 0.00 WHIP: .711

Putting it in perspective. That hand in the picture above got further on the base paths than hitters against Skenes.

@sbb122 -> On my facebook feed about the Pirates just posted something about Gary Redus.
This is YET another thing that pissed me off about Leyland. He loved his platoons so much he would rather suffer through mediocre players in a platoon vs getting actual hitters.

Wasn't it like from 90 to 92 we were stuck watching Merced and Redus play 1st base?!?

Yep exactly right. Merced liked smoking weed more than he liked playing baseball.

The two things I remember most about Redus was him having blue eyes as an African-American, and him getting drilled in the head, against the Dodgers by a Tim Crews fastball and his entire eye blew up.

Oh yeah I forgot about the Tim Crews incident. He looked worse than Kris Draper did after the Turtle checked him from behind.

^ The last good story of the season.

Have there been any other bright spots in this 0-6 run against the Moneybags? Haven't watched since, thank goodness.
