You are correct. He's been nothing but stellar...but no national recognition.

Please note that Rust is nothing special, and neither is Rodriquez. I hope to fuck they don't sign either or bring back Malkintent or LeTang

/Guentzel started scoring early before Crosby got healthy so props to him for that but like with Huberdeau's assists it's looked at much more as a result of the more talented linemate than it is the player himself.

Since this is the norm of recent times for the Penguins s**ting the bed in the first round. Here are my thoughts the status of looming FA's.

Malkin - resign
Letang - please let him walk
Rust - he will walk as someone will overpay for his services
Kapanen - don't tender his RFA but they will since there is a possible capital benefit to this.
Rakell - resign
Heinen - tender him
Rodrigues - they love him for some reason and will resign him.
Boyle - old and done
Beaulieu - it was nice knowing you as you were here just for the regular season cap relief.
DeSmith - let him walk

Extra Credit:
Dumoulin - this post season proved he is redundant. And whatever team is dumb enough to sign Kris Letang, Hextall better be on the phone making any deal to dump him off to that team.
