They’re absolutely one and done in a 7 game seriesAnd I'm free

Malkin being Malkin the magician...disappearing. What a slow, old, lackluster team who can't finish and won't drive the middle

They are getting swept. They’re absolutely one and done in a 7 game series
That wouldn’t surprise me one bit. A one line team isn’t going anywhere. They are getting swept.

Rodrigues and Kapanen are absolutely useless. And I wouldn’t want to count on Carter, Heinen and McGinn as the guys to be the secondary scorers.
Shut down the 87/17/59 line and the Rangers win in a cakewalk
I turned it off midway through the 2nd. It was very hard to watch.Things got a little feisty at the end of last night's game.

I did see Sullivan praised their play after the game. I guess me and him have different views lol
I missed the ending also but from what I saw in the highlights it is to be expected. If the standings hold it will be an interesting 4 game sweep.Things got a little feisty at the end of last night's game.
Hey, at least they got a call on that one. Unlike the Marchand hit on Peeke which was remarkably similar except rat boy led with an elbow. From last night's game and reports are it's a significant upper body injury for Motte. I don't know why an interference penalty was called though, Motte played the puck a split second earlier and it was more of an unfortunate hit than a dirty hit in my opinion.

My problem is I look at hits through the lens of USA Hockey's rules for U18/High School. If someone hit one of my players like that, or like Marchy hit Peeke I would lose my mind. Because there are two keys that HS refs are supposed to look for that aren't there in either of these. That looked like an IIHF call to me, though. I mean, it's not a hit to the head, it wasn't an elbow and to me it's not interference. It's more like a big hit was made and the zebras decided we'd better call something or the natives will be restless.
is this a thing?Because there are two keys that HS refs are supposed to look for that aren't there in either of these.
1) Is the player initiating the hit attempting to play the puck first
I'm just about ready to give up on professional sports. Given that college athletes are now being paid, that includes college ball as well. From last night's game and reports are it's a significant upper body injury for Motte. I don't know why an interference penalty was called though, Motte played the puck a split second earlier and it was more of an unfortunate hit than a dirty hit in my opinion.
That was the major rules overhaul this past season. Still Praise D men who do what you described, but they have to at least aim the blade of their stick to the puck before making the hit.is this a thing?
when I was taught to play defense - the overriding principle was:
either the puck can go past, or the player can. don't care which, as long as it's not both.
I didn't often attempt to play the puck, and my coaches praised that
I said it before, they are wildcard bound and swept in the playoffsLooking at the matchups the Penguins aren't even guaranteed to keep 3rd place.
So it could be Florida, Carolina or NYR. I don't see them winning a game against any of those three come playoff time.
Bullshit call. Clean hitFrom last night's game and reports are it's a significant upper body injury for Motte. I don't know why an interference penalty was called though, Motte played the puck a split second earlier and it was more of an unfortunate hit than a dirty hit in my opinion.
