Reminds me of the time I called Evan Rodrigues a waste of a roster spot on Twitter and his brother responded with a laugh emoji and liking the tweet lol

I find players for the most part usually take less offense to those kind of social media interactions than fans do. I think that's the best way to handle it as it usually shuts down the conversation right then and there rather than being offended and then it just pours more gas on the fire.

Yep and I felt bad after I saw his brothers response.

It is just a game after all that has no bearing on our lives

Yeah, on boards like this one, it's fine to vent and rip on guys because they're never going to see it (an extremely low chance of it happening anyway). It's especially bad for female tennis players on social media and the majority of that is driven by gambling, people lose money on a tennis match and then they fill that players' social media with some of the most vile and disgusting posts.

I can't remember if my parents bought the book "Scrubs on Skates" for me or if someone else gave it to me, but it was a pretty good read. Of course, maybe they were trying to tell me something lol

This is a classic and not sure why I never mentioned this one before! :L

Backdrop Jay and Mike Lange were walking into the Dicks Sporting Good to do an autograph session.
I remember when my friend told Jay Caufield he sucks while walking by. This is when Jay was still playing for the Penguins.
Mike laughed and Jay looked pissed. Jay came over to my friend and stared at him in the face like he was about to beat the shit out of him and then started laughing and said "I know".

My friend wasn't a small guy and was in pretty good shape but you could tell he was scared shitless and I truly think he pissed himself. :)

When he got up to get the autograph Jay said to him....nah I am good. Jay laughted again and did sign his autograph for him.

I see a team taking part of Eller's contract and the Penguins eating some since it is one year. But good luck finding a taker for Accairi's contract at this point.

Come next year, I bet Spezza will be the GM in Pittsburgh and Dubas will just be the President of Hockey Operations.

That's the path Dubas took to the Leafs.

Spezza is going to be very happy when he finds this news in his notes.
