Uggg.. looking at capfriendly I just realized Lars Eller, who I forgot they signed, is the youngest natural center on the team. :L
remember 5 years ago when the Rangers sent out that letter saying they were full in on a rebuild?

As it stands now, they have a total of THREE forwards under 30 years old.
and are trying to jettison at least one of them.

We have one guy on the team over 30. 31 year old Erik Gubberson. 2 more guys are 30.

That's better right? That feels like it's better.

Age is just a number. Would you rather have the Bruins centers?
I mean, credit to the B's where it's due because if this truly was a league where you have to draft & develop well to get anywhere they would be dead last. Since 2015, and with reservation on their past few drafts (although it isn't looking great), the only skaters of note they've D&D'd are Pasta, McAvoy, DeBrusk, Carlo and Trent Frederic. And that's including 7 first rounders and 7 second rounders from 2015-2020.

Why are the Pirates even in this league? Can't they be realigned into a more competitive group?

Priester looked my Nick Kingham and then this:

The mess of the prior GM still continues.

I just looked at games that they won where they scored 9+ runs.

122 runs in those 8 wins.

266 runs in the other 84 games. Tossing the abnormal wins they average 3.09 runs per game.

What a disgrace the entire organization is.

Did he actually write this with a straight face?

Kyle Dubas and the Penguins would clearly love to complete a deal, but they do have a reasonably good top-4 defensive group should they miss out on landing Karlsson.

As a Cards fan, I want to thank the Pirates for going 9-26 in the last 35

I was just curious about the Pirates attendance figures and for them to still be averaging over 20,000 fans despite a team struggling as badly as they are is darn good in my opinion.

Of course, the Cards are over 41K average attendance and they are right there with the Pirates as far as wins and losses are concerned.

PNC Park has helped that tremendously and out-of-towners still like going to that park Back at three rivers when they sucked they averaged around 5,000 - 10,000 per game.

Amazingly Pittsburgh has a great baseball fanbase sadly the team is the excrement that is scraped off the bottom of Trumps taint.

I think St Louis has one of the top, if not the top baseball fanbases in the league. Every time I used to go to St. Louis for work you could talk baseball with anyone at any time.
