sOilers' defence is downright conspiratorial. They might think about wanting to play their positions just a little bit, or pick up a man (with or without a puck) at least once in a while - I've never seen a whole set of defencemen play like that before - a protest, or is it let me out (en masse)? Put 'the blame' right where it belongs, ie, trade, and/or waive each and every one of the D, and get six or seven others, either up. or in, immediately.
I'd also put Eakins back in charge - and think about a new defence coach.
