All in all it's just another brick in the wall.

Somebody needs to start a "does your team have 20 points on the season" thread
Making fun of the Oilers is getting difficult now that the Flames are on a 6 game skid.
No, but I think most of the owners in the KHL are. Pretty sure they can pay him in whatever currency he'd ask for.
It's a young team dash.
Gotta just roll with the inconsistency. Win? Playoffs maybe!! Lose? High pick gets closer!!
At least they're playing hard and giving some kids a chance. That's all I ask of my Sens (least experienced team in the league).
The future is bright in Calgary.
Yup, that's true, this season is gravy, I went into it with low expectations, the team surprised early, but it looks like reality is setting in now.
KHL powers that be are very pro Russia, of course. That means that for the Russian teams, payroll is in rubles with no exchange rate escalators allowed. The teams outside of Russia are not tied to this clause.
ahh, here it is: https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/n...ing-russian-ruble-kill-the-khl-223345398.html

The Ottawa one is by far the worst - Z-Bad, Cowen and a 1st in 2015? Yikes
To Columbus Blue Jackets = Taylor Hall, Jeff Petry and Martin Marincin
To Edmonton Oilers = Ryan Johansen, Scott Hartnell and James Wisniewski
Ryan Johansen
ANALYSIS: Edmonton apparently inquired about Johansen’s availability and the answer was no, but that’s assuming Hall’s name wasn’t in the conversation. They are a decent swap, though Hall is still more dynamic. Petry is a pending UFA but Hartnell is a salary dump, so consider them a wash. Marincin is supposedly coveted by a lot of teams, while Wisniewski would give Edmonton an upgrade on defence. Wisniewski does have a modified no-trade clause, so if he wouldn’t waive for Edmonton, then substitute David Savard.

It’s still not enough, not what Edmonton would be looking for in return. The Oilers can definitely do better elsewhere.
The Pittsburgh one is pretty bad too.
The notion of of the Avs giving up Landeskog is pretty sketchy too.
I agree though. I like Hall as a player but no way do I want Ottawa to give up that package to get him.
One for one swap - Taylor Hall for Seth Jones - I think Poile has a chuckle and hangs up on MacT, what do you guys think?
