By the way, was watching NHL network this morning and they showed Scrivens talking abotu why he signed in Edmonton.

He said "There are only so many jobs. 60 guys, 30 starters. So I didn't know if there was going to be another chance to sign." Paraphrasing because I was laughing and not catching every word.

Essentially: "I signed because it's a job".
