1) Vince Dunn is a defenceman who almost 100% will help the Oilers and is probably available for some midround picks and a cheap prospect.

2) The Oilers can't afford him, don't have anybody they can offer in a trade to free up the space to afford him (except RNH, who moving would make things worse not better) and to boot, moved their second and third round picks this year to acquire Andreas Athanasiou (who is no longer with the team) and to move Milan Lucic (in which they also had to accept James Neal, who they wish was no longer with the team).
