I know a couple of guys who scout the QMJHL and they loved Dubois. I honestly never saw it but apparently Jarmo did.

I figured he'd develop slowly and be a 45-50 point C by about age 24; juuuust a little off on that one.

To me, it really highlights the lack of player development within that organization. They just throw them into the deep end and expect them to succeed in the NHL immediately. Unless you are a special talent or are mature beyond your years, you need time to develop in the AHL. In PullyourRV's case, the kid can't speak English and had trouble communicating with Oilers brass. Do you think the team helped him out any with a tutor or guide to help him with the transition to North American culture? The answer is no and no.
