17. When Edmonton gets down to GM interviews, the favourites are Kelly McCrimmon and Mark Hunter.

Nothing against hiring a first-time GM but what exactly makes everybody in the media think these two have any sort of upper hand?

Lebrun got mocked the other week in Toronto because he said Hunter's draft record was impeccable or something like that despite him actually being rather shit at it. McCrimmon's draft record is at drafting players from other teams to fill his expansion team's roster and assisting in two drafts in which none of the players drafted have played a game yet.
