On another note, I would personally like to thank the Oilers, it was a tough sports weekend with the passing of Arnold Palmer and Jose Fernandez (as well locally with the senseless violence that claimed the life of Stampeders player Mylan Hicks) and I wasn't in a great mood today, but they have certainly brightened my spirits.

I think him and Lucic will do pretty well together for at least a couple of years, provided the opposite winger is a skill guy and the lack of a blue line possession-driver doesn't absolutely kill them.

I think Lucic is a very good player, it's just a matter of how long he'll be able to be good before his body starts giving out.

$2.5M for a ~30 point player - maybe more when getting out of that cesspool that is Edmonton - is a no-brainer for most teams I would think.

I was kinda waiting for you to say it. Especially with uncertainty around Gaudreau, why the hell wouldn't they? (Also opens up a spot for your friend Russell)

I could also see Vancouver or Columbus. Would be surprised if he gets passed Calgary in the order.
