He's an excellent player but I don't think he produces enough to be mentioned alongside the Crosby's and OV.

Getting a little sick of hearing about all his intangibles too.

As highly as what? How fuckstick Steve Simmons rates him?
He has great hands, is one of the best skaters in the league, career shooting% is amongst the highest in the league amongst guys who've played as many games as him (although he shoots less than most), he betters the possession stats of everybody he skates with...

Alongside Crosby and OV in terms of production? Obviously not, but mentioning him in the same line as Sakic or Yzerman isn't offside.

The funny thing is he should have been tossed for that dangerous hit from behind earlier in the game...

So did McDavid throw away his chances at the Lady Byng tonight?

I wonder if things keep going like this Chiarelli may decide to start offloading the old first overalls and try to re-start around McDavid? He could still get a fuck ton of assets for Hall, RNH, Eberle and maybe even Yakupov. Or trade them all for magic beans like he did with Seguin. Either or.

I don't care who you throw in the mix on that team, it seems like a Leafs-ish situation where the core and the attitude of that core is really the crux of their issues. If the season keeps going that poorly (to the pleasure of us all) they're really going to have to look at that option.

I see big Griff is already reserved to the pressbox. That didn't take long.

I don't think he dove there. He's just a poor skater. LOLOilers.

Possible. A good skater would probably never lift both feet off the ice at the same time.

They should just trade Hall away for half of what he's worth and then everything will be fine. Oh, and make sure that they retain salary
