Nice of the Buckeyes to spot the Eskimos a field goal early only to add a TD (plus the convert) to seal the deal.

Is there any phrase in hockey that sounds sweeter than "7 unanswered goals"?

Great game by Tomas Van3k, but some Blue Jackets all-time marks went down last night.

Alex Wennberg was +6 last night, high single game total in Jackets history. Torts tied for the top of the pile in coaching wins with 127. And Pierre-Luc Dubois got his 40th point. A Blue Jackets rookie record for points.

Yes, one more than Rick Nash.

Keep this lead and FL ain't catching us. If we don't get #2 in the division I don't really care where we slot in.

Looks like Jarmo made the right call on taking PLD over Jesse PullyourRV - Still early mind you, but looking good for CBJ.

Jesse: 89 GP. 13G, 15A 28P +5 playing a lot of third line time.

Pierre-Luc: 78 GP: 18G 26A 44P +7 playing first line center role against opponents top players.

It does look like the bald Finnish Fuckwit knew what he was doing.

In addition, he took Markus Nutivaara in the 7th round the year Hanifin, Provorov and Werenski were drafted. Werenski is tops in points of that group (but taken after Hanifin and Provorov), and Nuti is 4th. And he got another D man in the 6th who could come to North America and do some damage (Gavrikov).

Also, Seth Jones now holds the Jackets all time record for points by a defenseman with 54.

I liked how the fans stopped singing "na na na, hey hey, goodbye" there.
our fans are really fucking stupid at times.

the 28th place team should not be saying ANYTHING to a team gearing up for the playoffs

got to be clearing up a bunch of hold-overs.
It's usually about 60-70ish K i think (for prize of 30/35k).

in the prairies, they sometimes shoot up north of 100k.

funny thing is, this year they have opened up a separate 50/50 to everyone so you can play at home.
No one gives a shit. I don't think I have seen a jackpot over $2.000 yet.

I thought it was a special one for "fan appreciation".

That's also known as giving Wennberg the Larry Brooks treatment.
