Jackets and Hawks game on now and Bedard and Johnson each have one. Announcers keep harping on the fact that Johnson, Bedard and Jake Christiansen grew up together and still play 3 on 3 every Sunday over the summer. Celebrini plays with them as well.

They just showed a skybox and Johnson's and Bedard's dads are sitting up there with Fantilli's dad all hanging out and having some beers.


Oh yeah, the point in this game continues KMFJs streak of at least one in every game he's played this year.

Context - Elvis made a huge save and the net came off after a Jacket went into the net. Smith decided to come in on Elvis, goofing off.

I've resigned myself to the fact he's gonna re-sign, and I am more comfortable with Waddell handling than I would be if Jarmo was. Hopefully it's no more than 3x3.

Blue Jackets goaltending situation:
Daniil Tarasov is so bad that they have played Elvis 17 of the last 21 games to the point where he is completely worn out. So the Jackets have called up, and are starting, an average AHL goalie against the top team in the East rather than put Tarasov in. Elvis is backing up.

Good thing that Ovechkin is still recovering from his steroid overdose, so we will probably only lose by 10.

Two big congrats to go around tonight. First Zach Werenski scored his 100th career goal.

Second, Jet Greaves had one solid game in an OT loss, so naturally Jackets fans are ready to give him a 15 year contract and trade both our other goalies.

Headline seems to try and make it like it was a huge deal like Hockey Fights Cancer or Hockey is for everyone nights, but this seems like more of a group that wanted to come to the game for a private celebration. More like a birthday party or company party. Probably wouldn't have been mentioned much beyond a scroller on the jumbotron.
