True story: When my missus was pregnant with the boy, my suggestion for his name was Martin/Marty. She considered it for a few weeks and it was even in the final three until she asked me what I liked about the name.

I said "There are currently 6 goalies in the NHL named Martin. Just playing the odds".

The name came off the sheet quick.
