He showed promise with the Sabres until they jerked him around in and out of lineup, then traded to Av’s. He was young and from what I remember didn’t like being away from home and couldn’t adjust.

19 years old and in the NHL probably wasn't a great experience when he didn't know anyone.

Hopefully Gavrikov will take him under his wing and with Voronkov and Marchenko coming within the next 2 years will hopefully help him mellow out.
