I went by the official banner maker of the Nashville Predators this morning. I thought they would be working on a "First 5-0 road trip in Franchise History" banner, but one seamstress asked me how to spell "Petey". She had already sewn "Welcome to Smashville".

Needless to say, the banner was YUGE!

lol - I think it's all going to end with Petey signing a 8 year deal with the Canucks and the main reason is the team is doing as well as they are this season and they have a real shot at a deep playoff run.

I think what might have triggered this is the Canucks had a nice comeback win over the Bruins and the poll question wasn't about the game on Saturday night, but Elias Pettersson's on-going contract negotiations. It will all blow over when he signs on the dotted line.
