- the recapture penalty was instated after the fact.
- was then eliminated as was logically shown to be retarded (Weber could have single handedly cratered the Predators team if he retired within a certain window)
- yet the penalties to the Canucks (and Devils) remain in place.

The hubbub on 650 yesterday were reports that Jay Beagle may have played his last nhl game due to injuries and will go on ltir (good for the cap!) and they will probably try to re-sign Sutter because of this (wut????)


/and i really doubt there will be buyouts coming ... in case anyones forgetting, ferlands contract isnt insured so frankie is paying him straight cash still

Hes been good .. the trade was a win they got rid of gubberson for god sakes ... but if jimbo says he needs 2 years before they're a contender why the fuck would/should they sign 29 year old tanner pearson whos only getting slower and his younger replacement in podkolzin is on his way here ... jimbo just loves having 3 shmill per players in his bottom six
